Last week, I had the pleasure of getting acquainted with artist Kiva Atkinson: IGMA Artisan and a member of CDHM. What drew me to her work was the unusual and exotic delicacies she chooses to recreate. I actually had to look up the terms baba ganoush and tabouli to find out what they are!

I love middle Eastern and Greek food! looking at these pictures I would be hard pressed to identify them as miniatures. The scale is spot on.
Kiva is a great cook indeed! love those aubergines (yes, yes, I know I'm biased - I adore all forms of aubergines :). Love the spinach too :P
