Japanese Soba set: buckwheat noodles sprinkled with seaweed, accompanied by dipping sauce, some tsukemono (pickled vegetables), and boiled soy beans (edamame)
Chopped Bonito sushi: this kind of sushi is called chirashi, or scattered sushi, with the raw fish loosely strewn on a bed of rice, sprinkled with chopped green onions, ginger, cooked egg and slivered leeks, white part only
Japanese Yakisoba: stir fried noodles that are slightly tangy, topped with shredded pickled ginger
Japanese Takoyaki: chunks of octopus baked in dough balls and drizzled with a tangy sauce
