My sweet tooth is back!

Well, that didn't take long did it? In my final mini-making frenzy before heading back to the babysitting & all that entails, I had this overwhelming urge to make some cherry pies. (unfortunately, this time, not the "real" thing as the only cherries I could find would have meant me having to take out a 2nd mortgage...which wouldn't be easy in today's economic climate!!). Feeling that I had exhausted the "pie & slice" theme, this time I went for somebody stealing a slice leaving the remains!!

I can just imagine the mini cook being furious when she comes back to the cooling pie!

Having made this one, I then decided I needed to make a pie preparation board...don't ask why! Who, in their right mind wants to sit for hours & hours painstakingly making each individual cherry for a display?!!! Duh..guess who...yep, you're absolutely right...ME!!

Absolutely beautiful! I haven't even tried making mini food yet (FINALLY just found a rolling pin I like), but photos like these are such inspiration!

I don't even *like* cherry pies but I want to eat these!

But we WANT you to hijack this site more often...it's so much more special when the artists share their work directly on the blog...
Love and hugs...

I was thinking about your pies this afternoon before I got home as a matter of fact...something I heard at a conference made me think of the pies...will explain later...
