Having been thoroughly sickened of strawberries & sweet things in general, I decided it was time to create something savoury!

Whilst in Portugal a few weeks ago, up on the "Silver Coast" which is one of the most beautiful places I've ever had the fortune of visiting, I was treated to one of the best meals I've ever had in Portugal. In a tiny little "local" restaurant (where I was actually allowed to smoke!...Sorry, yes, I'm a smoker & NOT ashamed of it!!)...It would seem that EU rulings on smoking don't exist there...how I wish Britain could act with a similar amount of discretion & not patronise every one of it's inhabitants!!..But, that's another story & one you don't really want to get me started on...I forget to stop!

All that aside here are the results of my "savoury" period of today!!

To be honest, I would just loved to be sitting down to this meal right now...but I guess it's back to reality!
